Dracula is a popular ballet which is staged many times across the country during the fall season. Even if you don't usually attend the ballet, you will want to catch a performance of this timeless tale. Start by looking at your local theaters and seeing what is on their calendar for the coming fall season, and get your tickets early if you are lucky enough to do so! Read on to see pictures of different ballet companies and their versions of Dracula, plus a link to a full performance of the ballet on youtube.
Dracula ballets have more than one choreographer and more than one score, so there are many versions to see. There is even a Dracula Rock Ballet, done steampunk style! Every ballet company has their own costume and set designers, and they all have their own take on the Count himself.

You will find all your favorite characters - Mina and Harker, Renfield, the Brides, Lucy and her suitors - and of course Van Helsing. What better way to spend a fall evening than with the dark beauty that is Dracula the Ballet?
Some of the posters for the ballet are amazing - they would make great artwork at home, if you can get hold of one! Here a two examples, but there are many more ~

I have found many previews and trailers for Dracula ballets on youtube, but only a couple of full performances. I do recommend watching the trailers, as they are beautiful in their own right. You can also compare costumes, music, and choreography, which vary widely. Below is one of the full performances, to get you started. Click through to youtube to explore more.
