I think honesty is the best policy, don't you?  I want to be transparent and open about Vintage Gothic and how it works.

This blog is not only for my own self-expression, but it is also a way for me to earn money. Maintaining a blog takes considerable time and effort, and though I'm thrilled to do it, I can't do it without a little help.  One is not independently wealthy, you see.  So there will be some ads on this blog - but I will only select ads that will be of interest to my readers.   I will never select pop-up or obnoxiously flashing ads that distract from the serene atmosphere of my home on the web.  I never want you to feel frustrated with the experience.

HOWEVER ~ As a fledgling penniless blog writer, I am using the free version of Blogger.  This means they can place ads on my blog whenever they want, and they can be of any type.  If you see an intrusive ad for an irrelevant product, be assured I did not hand-select it.  My first big goal (after all the small ones!) is to purchase my own domain name, so I can have total control over the advertisements.  Until I make enough money to buy and maintain a domain name, you may be subjected to obtrusive ads, so bear with me.

In the future, I plan to sell vintage goth themed products, either through this website, or a sister site.  The majority of those products will be drop-shipped or sent out by third party affiliates.  I do not have a physical store.  My work is to search extensively among many suppliers to find you some amazing things that you will love.  I am now curating this collection of treasures and oddities.  In the future, when you purchase an item from me, I will be making a profit.  If you like my style, it's  great way to support my work.

PRIVACY POLICY ~ vintagegothic.blogspot.com does not use cookies.  I will not be using any tracking devices except for strictly numbers - how many people have been to the site each day.  HOWEVER ~ Google and my affiliate advertisers are third parties, and MAY USE COOKIES. 
If I collect your email address, it will be to send you new posts and occasional announcements.  I will not spam your email, nor will I ever sell your email to a third party.  I like my own privacy, and I will certainly always respect yours.
